Description: Acoustic design project developed for the project of conservation, modernisation and requalification of the São Carlos National Theatre, in Lisbon, in the team led by João Mendes Ribeiro Arquitecto and Atelier 15. The National Theatre of São Carlos (TNSC) is the only theatre in Portugal dedicated to the production and performance of opera, having as resident artistic bodies the Choir of the National Theatre of São Carlos and the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra.
