Description: Acoustics and Stage Design of the largest auditorium in the Tâmega e Sousa region (Portugal). This cultural centre, called "Ponto C", results from the refurbishment and expansion of an existing building in the historic centre of Penafiel. With a covered area of 2500 square meters, this space is versatile, being able to host a variety of events, from concerts and theatre, to film sessions and congresses. In addition to the main Hall, "Ponto C" also has a second multipurpose room for smaller events, a new square, green areas and a natural amphitheater. In the scope of Acoustics, we highlight the construction of an auditorium with capacity for 400 people, prepared to host different types of events, with a special focus on Music. The second room, located in a pre-existing building, adds a multifaceted dimension to this centre, allowing the realization of varied cultural and recreational activities. Stage technical systems and equipment have been specified to ensure adequate infrastructure for the performing arts (stage engineering, stage lighting and audio-visual systems).
