Description: Development of the Acoustic design project for the Casa do Mosteiro, one of the buildings that comprise the Leça do Balio Monastery complex, reopened in 2024 after the completion of the requalification project. This space includes permanent and temporary exhibition areas, in addition to a multipurpose room, office space, meeting rooms, and a store, complemented by several support areas. This project stands out by the careful control of external noise, due to its proximity to the Parish Residence and the leisure area of the Leça River (known as Parque das Varas). One of the particularities of this work concerns the extensive use of wood solutions for floors, ceilings, and doors, honouring traditional construction methods and maintaining the balance between modernity and the historical preservation of the building.
