Description: Acoustics and electroacoustics project for six stations of the new Rubi (H) line of the Metro do Porto, namely for the Arrábida, Candal, Rotunda, Devesas, Soares dos Reis and Santo Ovídio stations. This project involved addressing the internal acoustic conditioning of the stations, with regards to reverberation control (as required by the Portuguese Building Acoustic Requirements Code), as well as the electroacoustic study associated with the specification of loudspeakers and their spatial distribution to optimise the public address and voice messaging system’s speech intelligibility.
