Description: InAcoustics was responsible for the acoustic design of Building C, part of the new affordable housing development in Lordelo do Ouro, Porto. With four above-ground floors and one basement level, totaling 18 residential units and five commercial spaces, this building was developed with special attention to the acoustic comfort of future residents. In this project, the fully glazed façades stand out. Due to their proximity to a high-traffic road, they were carefully assessed and designed to ensure adequate sound insulation, particularly in the bedrooms. The entrance doors to the residential units were also acoustically reinforced, as they open directly onto an outdoor common corridor where people may gather and converse.
